Vintage Racing Cromwell Crash Helmet.
A green painted Motorcycle, Pudding basin shape helmet made in England by Cromwell. There are decals on the helmet, Castrol on one side and crossed Union flag with chequer flag surrounded with a laurel wreath on the other. This helmet has a cork interior, fitted with a fabric headband and straps keeping a space between the head and outer case of the helmet. Strong leather neck and ear flaps are also fitted as is a chin strap and goggle strap to the rear. Inside the helmet is a cloth Cromwell trade label with the British kite mark the size 7 3/8 (60) and a cloth retailers label. This is an ACU approved racing helmet with the leather having the A.C.U perforation mark.
A very good helmet in excellent condition, a fantastic display piece with approximately 61 cm internal circumference.
