Vintage A.C.U. Motorcycle Racing Crash Helmet, Everoak.
A fine silver painted motorcycle helmet made in England by Everoak. This helmet has a cork interior, fitted with a leather headband and straps keeping a space between the head and outer case of the helmet. Strong leather neck and ear flaps are also fitted as is a chin strap. Inside the helmet there is a faded Everoak trade label, British kite mark (BS 2001/56) and the leather head band marked 'This helmet conforms to A.C.U. requirements'. This means it complies with the Auto Cycle Union's standard for motorcycle helmets for racing use, the leather also has the A.C.U perforation mark.
Approximate 55 cm internal circumference.

Overall condition is very good. A few scuffs on band, internal webbing and label ok. Leather good.
