Vintage Cromwell Motorcycling Crash Helmet.
A blue & grey motorcycle, pudding basin shape helmet made in England by Cromwell. The helmet fitted with a cloth headband and cloth straps keeping a space between the head and outer case of the helmet. Strong leather neck and ear flaps are also fitted as is a chin strap. Inside the helmet is a cloth Cromwell trade label with the British kite mark and a cloth retailer's label of J. Lewis's, "Carburton safety, Euston 4793, J. Lewis's, of racing, flying & motor clothing fame. No connection with any other firm, 27, Carburton Street, London, W.1.".
A very good helmet in good condition, approximately 56cm internal circumference.
