Rare Feather Battledore, Badminton Shuttlecock.
A rare late 19th Century shuttlecock made with 18 natural feathers and finished with a brown velvet end. A nice shuttlecock in original condition, some flights in poor condition.
This type of shuttlecock is not a common find so if you collect Tennis and Badminton items don't miss this opportunity to own a rare survivor.
Battledore is a game played with a shuttlecock and rackets, a forerunner of badminton.
