1940's Boxed Slazenger Lawn Tennis Balls.
Set of six white lawn tennis balls as used at The Wimbledon Championships 1946. The six tennis balls are in very good condition although the makers name is not visible on them. The original cardboard box is in great shape just a small tear in one corner and the metal staples are rusty. The box with applied label 'Selected for ... The Championships Wimbledon 1946'. The brown box printed with 'The Slazenger Ball. Made entirely in England, The Slazenger Lawn Tennis Ball, Slazengers Lawn Tennis Balls used at The Championships Wimbledon since 1902'.
