Ash Lawn Tennis Racket With Cork Grip.
A very good and collectable lawn tennis racket with unusual patent grip. This style of cork grip is usually found on rackets manufactured by George Bussey & Co., although this racket for some reason does not bear Bussey's stamp. The racket has a nice clean ash frame with an unmarked walnut convex wedge. The handle is unusual as the grip has cork inserts running along it's length for extra grip. It has a good straight frame with the original red and white stringing (although discoloured) with three rows of black trebling to the top.
The design is quite rare making it a desirable collectable.
