Aviator, DC3 Aeroplane Wing Desk.
A fine conversion of a 1940-ties DC-3, Dakota, wing tip into a stunning desk. The wing has been stripped of paint and has a high polished metal finish. The top has been secured to a new sympathetically constructed aluminium base. The desk has a very nice sculptural look to it with all the rivets and navigation light on show.
This is a great piece of aviator history and would look good in any office.
The Dakota was designed in the mid 1930's as a freight and passenger aeroplane, and was renowned for its versatility.
