Vintage Ice Axe, Stubai.
A good Austrian 'Stubai' ice axe, the handle is made from ash with a good steel pick and with a good adze. This is a fine quality ice pick with the head stamped with the diamond 'STUBAI' logo.
Ice axes are multipurpose tools used by mountaineers in both the ascent and descent.
