Pair of Hickory / Ash Skis.
Ash ridge top skis with galvanised toe irons and foot plates, leather foot straps and and cable bindings. The skis are with pointed tips, dark brown in colour with a polished finish and the running surface having a single groove along its length. The cable bindings marked "Oberhof" and toe irons "Stratos".
Adjustable toe irons with cable and coiled heel springs were very popular from the mid 1930's to early 1950's, although there were many design variations of these bindings.
