Vintage Hardy Trout Fly Fishing Rod, 'The Hollolight'.
A fine 9ft, 3 piece split cane fly fishing rod by Hardy's of Alnwick. 'The Hollolight' Hollokona rod with suction joints, cork handle, clear agate line butt and tip guides. The gilt sliding reel fitting with Hardy's details and the serial number H29018, dating the rod to 1960. The rod has the painted black inscription spiralling around the shaft 'the "Hollolight", 'Hollokona', 'Regd. Trade Mark' and comes with alloy stoppers and the original canvas case.

In very good condition with a tiny set in the tip. The tip is half inch shorter than the other two sections.
