Brooks Motoring Trunk With Three Inner Cases
Brooks Three Case Chested Trunk.
A large stylish early 20th Century motoring trunk by J. B. Brooks and Co. of Birmingham, typically made for Rolls Royce and Bentley vehicles. The 'Brooks Industria Chested Trunk' comprises of an outer trunk with three inner cases that slide out independently. The outer case in black Rexine (a coated cotton fabric) with a hinged drop down front and fitted with chrome lock and mounts, two large stitched and studded leather loop handles either side for carrying. Upon opening the trunk a complete suite of three 'Antler' brand luggage cases are revealed, each internal case measuring 5 ½ inches high, 34 ½ inches wide. They differ in depth, 17 inches, 17 ¾ inches and 18 inches. Ideal for the motoring enthusiast, they would make a great chest of drawers for the bedroom.

For large touring party the 3 case Chested Trunk serves the large touring party admirably. At the end of the day's journey the three separate cases are readily removable to the traveller's respective rooms.
