Robert Forgan Brassie Golf Club.
A good persimmon wood 'Scotia' branded hickory shafted brassie or spoon by Robert Forgan & Son of St Andrews. The club head and shaft marked with Forgan's details the crown of the club head also stamped 'Scotia'. The club has a polished leather grip and the head has a full brass plate and lead weight to the rear.
A great brassie in good original condition and very usable for modern hickory play. Approximate 18° loft and the best balls for hickory play are low compression balls that will give at impact, such as ladies balls or soft feel balls.
