Vintage Hardy Trout Fly Fishing Rod, The 'Victor' No.2.
A very good 7ft 9 inch, 2 piece split cane trout bait casting fishing rod, The Victor No. 2. The Hardy's of Alnwick rod is in very good condition with spiral 'lockfast' joint fitting, mid section patent movable alloy 'screw grip' reel fitting stamped H 376. Comes with agate line guides throughout, crimson intermediate silk whipping and in a Hardy's canvas bag. The rod has the painted black inscription spiralling around the shaft 'the "Victor" No.2, 'Palakona', 'Regd. Trade Mark'.
