Antique Hickory shafted Golf Club by James Gourlay of Carnoustie.
A good playable James Gourlay Autograph hickory shafted Mashie iron. The head with line face markings and the rear clearly stamped with the Gourlay cleek mark of the 'crescent moon & star'. Also marked 'James Gourlay' signature, 'Carnoustie', 'Deep Faced Mashie', 'Special' and 'Warranted Hand Forged. The hickory shafted mashie has a replaced suede leather grip and an approximate 35° loft.
